General Club Registration Guidelines
General Club Registration Guidelines
1.Clubs are capped at 20 participants per teacher advisor.
2.Registration for clubs is on a first come first serve basis. If a club is full, a student can be placed on the waiting list.
3.Students can bring their completed registration form with supply fee to the Media Center in the morning before school. Registration is limited to one club per student to maximize the number of students able to participate. If a student is interested in a second club, he/she can be placed on the wait list. On Friday, October 1, registrations for a second club will be accepted providing there is space.
4.Supply fees are due at the time of registration and are not refundable.
5.Checks should be made payable to PINE TRAIL PTA.

Chime Choir Club
Club Name: Chime Choir
Grade Levels: 3ʳᵈ, 4ᵗʰ, and 5th
Description: Chime Choir will perform at various school and community events. Students will work together towards a common goal.
Meeting Day, Time and Location: Fridays from 2:30 – 3:30pm
First Day the Club Meets: October 8
After school students should report to: Media Center
Students will be picked up from Parent Pick-Up at 3:30 PM
Supply Fee (Due at time of registration and is non-refundable): $25.00
Student participation in after school clubs is a privilege not a right. Students are expected to follow the behavior expectations outlined by the club sponsor. If a student is having difficulty meeting these expectations, the club sponsor will contact the parent to discuss the issue. Any further issues involving the student’s conduct may result in the student’s removal from the club. It is the parents’ responsibility to pick up their child from the location and at the time indicated above. If the parent is late on more than one occasion, the student may no longer be able to participate in the club.
Club Specific Details:
Students will be building on musicianship skills learned in class and applying those skills to choir chimes (similar to handbells). Our goal is to perform at least once each semester.
Green Thumb Club
Club Name: Green Thumbs
Grade Levels: 3-5
Description: This club is all about growing (and tasting) plants! We will dig into the soil and learn about decomposers. Additionally, we will plan, plant, and tend a garden. We will even learn about trimming plants! Our local pollinators will love what we provide for them. The students will also make suggestions for activities that interest them.
Meeting Day, Time and Location: Mondays from 2:45 – 3:45
First Day the Club Meets: Monday, October 4th
After school students should report to: Media Center
Students will be picked up from Parent Pick Up Loop at 3:45PM
Supply Fee (Due at time of registration and is non-refundable): $20

Yearbook Club
Club Name: Yearbook
Grade Levels: 4-5
Description: Yearbook Club participants have the honor of capturing PTE’s awesome students and events. They will take part in designing yearbook pages, help photograph special events, and learn editing skills along with helping our school secure local business ads, advertise the sale of the yearbook, and assist with distribution. *See details on “meeting” times and dates.

Tuesdays 2:45-3:45 Media Center
First Day the Club Meets: Tuesday October 5ᵗʰ, 2021 (list of exact dates provided soon)
After school students should report to: Media Center
Students will be picked up from Parent Pick-up loop at 3:45PM
Supply Fee (Due at time of registration and is non-refundable): $20 (badges, pictures)

Club Specific Details:
Since yearbook club members will be required to miss class on special occasions, grades, behavior, and responsibility will be taken into consideration for a spot in the club. *We will have some iPads to use for photos but anyone who has a iPhone to take pictures during events is appreciated. *Supply fee will cover IDs, and picture prints used throughout design process.
